Kathua, Oct 21 : Residents of tehsil Hiranagar today called upon Deputy Commissioner Kathua Jatinder Singh and demanded immediate appointment of territorial Tehsildar in Tehsil office at Hiranagar. A deputation of tehsil Hiranagar under the leadership of Advocate Vijay Sharma met DC and apprised him about problems being faced by masses. "More than 300 villages falling in tehsil are suffering and facing hardships because of no work is being done at the office of Territorial Tehsildar", they said, and demanded immediate appointment of Tehsildar. DC Jatinder Singh said that in the absence of Territorial Tehsildar, the powers have been given on the disposal of Agrarian Tehsildar Hiranagar. |
