VIJAYPUR, Oct 21: Sending a strong message, former Minister and senior Congress leader Manjit Singh today appealed Government of India (GoI) to give a reply to Pakistan in its own language which it understands. Singh has given this statement in the back drop of repeated unprovoked firing by the Pak Rangers all along the International Border (IB). During his visit to S.M Pur, Jasso Chak, Bambu Chak, Dug Channi and Jerda, Singh interacted with the affected families who have migrated from their respective villages and also visited all the above send villages. The former Congress Minister in his address said that the Government of India should take the matter of unprovoked firing by Pak Rangers on IB seriously and lodged a strong protest against them. If they did not understand the concern of Indian, then he said they should teach Pakistan a lesson which it understands. He further demanded that GoI should form a contingency plan for the affected border people and it should also do insurance of the cattle and border people. He again demanded relief for the people living along IB. Referring to the migration of the families, he said, that they have been putting up in a community hall in Ramgarh and they should be given a relief.
