Early Times Report Jammu, Oct 22: A three member delegation constituted by State High Command of Bharatiya Janata Party comprising of Sat Sharma (CA), Munish Sharma and Sanjeev Sharma was sent to Kishtwar and Paddar to assess the grass root reality of Human Rights violation in the areas. According to press release, after submitting its report to the High Command, the Committee today filed a complaint to the Chairman State Human Rights Commission and handed over the copy of the complaint to DSP Human Rights Commission, Lazar Kandayaray. HRC officer Ramesh Trackroo was also present when the complaint and the detailed report of Human Rights violations was being handed over to the Officer Incharge. The Committee in its report has stated about the Human Rights Violations in Kishtwar, Karthai, Tattapani, Hanswar and Panchayat Kundal(Tattapani) areas. A detailed enclosure of the people who were victimized in the violence has also been attached with the complaint. In a press statement issued by the head of the Committee Sat Sharma (CA), he has said that on behalf of the Human Rights Cell of the party and the people who were harassed in the violence, we have filed a complaint to the Chairman of State Human Rights Commission and we will see to it that the people who were willfully dragged into false cases and who were victims to the riots gets fair justice. Sharma also said that Village Defence Committees(VDC's) which are a big source of security for the minorities in the hilly areas of Kishtwar, Doda and Ramban Districts are criticized instead of being strengthened. |
