| Kishtwar, Oct 22 : Block Medical Officer (BMO) Kishtwar today organized a symposium 'save the girl child' under NRHM in collaboration of Higher Secondary School Sarthal and High School Drabshalla. According to press release, Sarpanchs, Panchs , Prominient Citizens , Teachers , and students from different government and private schools of Sarthal and Drabhshalla participated in these functions, during the function a debate was organized and best speakers were given prizes. Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Sajjad Ahmed and Dr. Nighat Ara gave detailed information regarding the declining sex ratio. At the end Dr. Parvez Iqbal Wani BMO Kishtwar stressed upon the participants to extend their helping hands to the medical department is improving the declining sex ratio and also to build cheering atmosphere where female should feel safe. |
