Kathua, Oct 22: Bhartiya Janta Party (BJP) expelled MLA Durga Dass today expressed resentment against Union Home Minister Sushil Kumar Shinde for leaving the border area tour in midway in Hiranagar after returning from Police Station Hiranagar which is located at more than 15 kilometer before the Indo-Pak IB border.
Durga Dass lambasted the Home Minister's alleged paralyzed and handicapped tour to the border area which has been worst affected and suffered with heavy shelling and firings and forced the migration at large.
"The miseries of the border population have been increased manifolds due continue firings in the border area by the Pakistan, the thousands of hectare of agriculture land with standing paddy crops lost, the famers could not attend their farms to harvest their produce because of area is being put under high risk zone due constant shelling and firings from Pakistan", he said.
The return of Home Minister, has raised many questions over the seriousness and honest approach of the UPA government towards the border population which has been facing the fatal challenges from Pakistan since long, he said. |
