| PDP's peace march is befitting reply to divisive forces | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Nov 5: People's Democratic Party (PDP) leader and coordinator for Jammu-Poonch parliamentary constituency, Abdul Hamid Choudhary said that participation of thousands of people in peace march taken out by party Chief Mehbooba Mufti in Srinagar is an indication that they don't want war but crave for peace. As per press release, Choudhary Hamid said peace march is an answer to those forces who were trying to widen the wedge between India and Pakistan by raising a war cry. No nation can afford war as it is virtually a hell and leaves people, their economies and humanity shattered. This is the time when travel and trade with Pakistan should be strengthened and all teething problems removed so that cordial relations are built with neighbours and peace restored in entire sub-continent. Congratulating people and party leadership for successful peace march, Choudhary Hamid hoped that this would silence those voices which are trying to destabilise our economy and put precious lives of our people at stake for their personal political gains. He alleged that development has reached at its lowest ebb and those sitting at the helm of affairs were doing no good to the state but further alienating our people. |
