Srinagar, Nov 5: Soon after National Conference leader, Dr Mustafa Kamaal backtracked from his statement on supporting Modi, the BJP said that the NC double speak will not lead it anywhere. Kamaal had said yesterday that NC would support BJP if Modi becomes the Prime Minister. However, today he denied the statement saying the decision on any alliance shall be taken by the Party High Command. Giving the NC mind, Kamaal yesterday spoke of supporting the BJP if it comes to power. However, keeping up the NC traditions, he denied the statement saying BJP did not support the autronomy resolution of the NC so "we cannot support them." Taking a strong note of the recent statements of Sheikh Mustafa Kamsal against BJP, state president of BJP, Jugal Kishore today said that time to time statements of N.C camp particularly of Sheikh Mustafa Kamaal and Chief Minister himself against BJP cadre reflects their frustration. "NC lives in a make believe world and leaders like Kamaal often resorts to day dreaming," Kishore said. While quoting the recent statements of Chief Minister, Omar Abdullah in Kashmir and Jammu, Kishore said that one must understand the restlessness among NC camp particularly among its top brass politicians like Kamaal and Omar Abdullah. "They issue anti-India statements in Kashmir and in Jammu he feels safe in backtracking from all such statements," he said. Kishore said NC need not issue statements on alliance with BJP. "We make it clear that BJP cannot form a government with a party like NC which has failed in all the regions on all the fronts," he said. |
