| Replay of Param FC, Young Heroes match today Dispute marks Sainik Colony, Param FC tie | | | Sports Reporter JAMMU, Nov 26: The league tie between Sainik Colony and Param Football Club remained inconclusive after a dispute over referee's decision with regard to a `penalty' kick in the 55th minute of the match. Remained goalless in the first half amidst neck of neck fight form both upcoming clubs. However, desperate for a breakthrough to keep their hopes alive for the next super league round, Sainik Colony Club demanded a penalty in the 55th of the match which centre referee, Koushal Sharma declined. It was followed by argument between the playing teams and the officials. However, officials were stick to their stand. It resulted into undue interference of the crowd and by the time issue was sorted there was already bad light appeal from the playing teams. "Since the game remained inconclusive, the organising committee has decided to take the matter before the disciplinary and technical committees for a decision. The committee would sit and take an appropriate decision by tomorrow positively," vice president of the Jammu and Kashmir Football Association (JKCA), Surinder Singh Bunty said. Meanwhile, following the direction of the disciplinary committee, the organizers have decided to ask Param FC and Young Heroes for replay of the drawn league game of November 19. It is pertinent to mention here that Param FC had protested inclusion of outside player by the Young Heroes in the drawn game. The protest was looked into by the committee set up for the purpose and it was decided to replay of the game tomorrow. |
