Predicts what BJP leaders will say in Dec 1 rally
Omar the astrologist!

Early Times Report
sangar (nagrota), Nov 26: The Chief Minister today looked more an astrologer than politician. He predicted what BJP Prime Ministerial candidate Narendra Modi would say at Jammu on December 1.
"They will create communal tension and accuse leaders ranging from Nehru to Dr Farooq Abdullah for the mess the state finds itself in at present," he said. He further predicted that the BJP leaders would talk about abrogation of Article 370 of the Indian Constitution and raise the issue of discrimination against Jammu region.
He urged the people at Nagrota to defeat the `nefarious' designs of the BJP and strengthen the communal harmony and brotherhood. Interestingly, the Chief Minister himself resorted to cheap talk after the August 9 communal riots in Kishtwar by saying `Two Hindus and one Muslim got killed.' Omar was widely criticized for this `loose talk' as it did not help pacify the anger of both the communities.
He also took a dig at PDP saying it (PDP) never misses a chance to ridicule the coalition government. Yes, people blame Omar for the CET scam that surfaced recently. It was Omar's cabinet that gave repeated extensions to the tainted officer.
The Chief Minister is also responsible for the miserable plight of the quake hit victims of erstwhile Doda district. According to reports, the sufferers have got Rs 1900 as relief from a government that talked about their total and honorable rehabilitation.
Omar Abdullah miserably failed in 2010. It seemed that the police force was out to create trouble. One after the other, the police and the CRPF killed 130 persons. As Chief Minister and Home Minister of the state, he should own responsibility of the killings. And, if somebody sought change of government during those difficult times, he did what was needed then.
All political parties play vote bank politics and NC is no exception. The NC in the garb of winning the hearts of the Kashmiris has challenged the totality of accession to project itself as a party with separatist agenda.
And how could he refrain from making a mention of PSGA? He boasted of brining almost 70 services under the purview of this Act. However, for his information the legislation has not made any difference on the ground.
He also talked about transparency and his fight against corruption. Again, the Chief Minister must bear in mind that corruption reached alarming proportions during his regime. The state earned the dubious distinction of being the most corrupt state in the country.
While new schools were opened to befool then people, existing schools are craving for proper infrastructure and staff. Similarly the Degree Colleges opened in new places operate from a single room.
Omar wished return of UPA to power. However, the Congress has been accused of triggering more than 40000 communal riots in various parts of the country since 1947. Rest of the talking on SKEWPY, UDAAN, HIMAYAT and entrepreneurship development was done by his most trusted lieutenant, Davender Singh Rana. All those schemes, Rana knows, have failed to change the lives of the people.
