Sources told Early Times that as many as 38 CCTV cameras had been installed en-route from Katra to Bhawan (Cave Shrine) for keeping close surveillance of the yatra to avert any untoward incident so that yatra may go on smoothly but unlike police department seems in deep slumber. "Around three district SPs have been changed in the District Reasi during last two years but nobody felt the need to take strong step to make these CCTVs functional," they said further adding that authorities concerned have already received many terror threats from the militants to strike on shrine but the threats have not been heeded.
