SRINAGAR, Nov 26: With Director National Rural Health Mission (NRHM) setting three days deadline to inquire into fraudulent measures used in the recruitment process under National Rural Health Mission (NRHM) Rashtriya- Bal-Swasth- Kariyakram (RBSK) in North Kashmir's Kupwara and Kulgam district of South Kashmir, the fake president of Ayush Doctors is likely to face wrath of Doctors association for his claims in connection with the said recruitment.
Taking a serious note of the fraudulent measures used in the recruitment process of selection of Doctors in Kupwara and Kulgam districts and violation of recruitment rules in Kupwara distrcit, Director NRHM, Dr Yashpal Sharma today said that he has already sent letters to the concerned officials responsible for recruitment of Doctors to clear their position about the recruitment process conducted in these areas.
He said that after reading the story published in Early Times on Sunday revealing the fraudulent measures used in the recruitment of Doctors in Kupwara and Kulgam Districts, he has asked the concerned officials to reply to his letter within three days so that truth in connection with the recruitment process could be revealed.
"I was out of state but I am fully aware of the matter and assure you that I will take further measures in coming days to inquire the matter with complete transparency" said Director NRHM, Dr Yashpal Sharma.
After Early Times on the basis of concrete evidence received from credible sources within the Kupwara administration exposed fraudulent measures used in the selection of Doctors in Kupwara and brought the matter in the notice of concerned authorities, one Ayush Doctor namely Doctor Farooq Malik who while claiming himself the president of Ayush Doctors association Kupwara through a press release published in two dailies of the Kashmir claimed that "Ayush doctors selection in Kupwara was done in transparent manner.
The fake president of Ayush Doctors association Kupwara according to the president of Jammu and Kashmir Ayush Doctors association namely Dr Muzaffar is not even the member of Doctors association Kashmir and is not authorized to issue such a baseless press release for his personal gains.
"We have called a meeting of all Jammu and Kashmir Ayush Doctors association in the current week after this incident came to our notice and we will take a strict action against Dr Farooq Malik who has projected himself as President of Ayush Doctors association Kupwara recently," said Dr Muzaffar, president Ayush Doctors association J&K. Pertinently, as per the sources Dr Farooq Malik himself is on the serial number 6 of list of Doctors of Kupwara District which according to the concerned officials is yet to be finalized and is considered a close associate of some administrative officials of the area. It is noteworthy that when Early Times called Dr Farooq , he refused to comment.
