| SMVDU sports meet begins | | |

JAMMU, Nov 26: The inter-department sports meet of Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University (SMVDU) got underway at the varsity campus under the guidance of Director Sports, Ashok Kumar and incharge activities, Dr Ajay Sharma.
A good number of 21 teams are taking part in volleyball (men and women) meet while seven teams entered themselves with the organsing committee in football. In another event of basketball, eight teams are taking part in men and women sections.
The competition is being held on league-cum-knockout basis. The opening day witnessed league matches in all the three events.

JAMMU, Nov 26: T.S Public School student participated in "Bharat Ko Jano" Quiz Competition organized by Bharat Vikas Parishad. In Junior Team Sharika Parihar and Sanjana Sharma were declared first and in senior team Rahul kumar and Rishab Chandok stood at second position. Pooja Malhotra, Chairperson of T.S. Group of Educational Institutions held on impressive function in which she congratulated both the teams for their commendable performance. She presented trophy to Chanchal Jandiyal and appreciated her for preparing the students. Certificates were distributed to the winner participants. |
