Educational-cum-motivational tour concludes 11/26/2013 10:01:21 PM Doda, Nov 26: Army today flagged in the 10 day long educational cum motivational tour comprising of 23 girl students and two lady staff of Doda in an impressive and simple function held at DPL Doda. The tour was organized by 10 RR (Rajput) under operation Sadbhavana which left for 10 day tour to Jaipur and Udaipur on 15th November and returned back to Doda on 25th November. Dy Comamnder 4 Sector RR Col A K Kadyan was the Chief Guest while ADDC Doda Ghulam Nabi Balwan was the Guest of Honor besides Principal GHSS Girls Doda Kishwar Sultana, teacher GHSS Girls Doda Sham-Sun-Nisa Tramboo, HOD Chemistry GDC Doda Prof Babu Ram, Chief Education Planning Officer Doda and students were also present on the occasion. The tour was aimed to give a holistic exposure to the students of Doda region about the rich cultural heritage and diversity of the nation and also to spread the message of peace and bring awareness about the educational and professional avenues available to the students. During the tour, the girl students got a chance to visit Delhi, Ajmer, Rajasthan, Jaipur, Udaipur and other historical places under the supervision of Major Praveen Chaudhary who acted as guide during the entire tour. It is important to mention here that after 15 years turmoil of militancy in this region, it was for the first time that 10 RR conducted educational cum motivational tour for girls hailing from this region which was highly appreciated by the people of this region. Madiha Tabassum, a student of 11th Class of Green Model HR Sec School Doda was very excited after the tour and said that the tour gave them an opportunity to have a glimpse of the rich cultural heritage and progress and development made by our country while the female staff including Kishwar Sultana and Sham-Sun-Nisa Tramboo accompanying the group told that the students are very happy having had a chance to visit so many historical places and thanked the efforts of 10RR for conducting such tour for the girls of this region.   Share This News with Your Friends on Social Network     Comment on this Story
