Kishtwar, Nov 27: Police today continued the search for the missing person identified as Sushil Kumar (17 yrs) son of Kuldeep Kumar resident of Challasoo Saroor whose dead body could not be retrieved from the ill fated vehicle which completely submerged in river Chenab after meeting with an accident near Drabshala on Tuesday. The accident left eight persons dead.
The police party led by Sub Inspector Nayeem Mattoo continued their efforts today as well, but failed to recover the body. Police has also sounded alert all along the banks of river Chenab and Bagliar Dam. Meanwhile several politicians including MLA Inder Ghulam Mohammed Saroori, JKPCC State Secretary Thakur Jughal Bhandari, PDP Senior Leader Talib Hussain, PDP Youth President Kishtwar Umar Malik, BJP senior leader Shakti Parihar, BJP National Youth Executive Member Sunil Sharma, JKNPP State secretary Anil Parihar, NCP State secretary Ajaiz Naik, Social activist Shakir Siddiqui and several other express their grief and sorrow over the loss of life in this tragic accident and demanded an exgretia relief of Rs. 5 lac in favour of all the deceased person. All the mourners also prayed to God for peace to the departed souls, beside place for them in heaven. They also pray to God to give strength to the family members to bear the irreparable loss. |
