Ramban, Nov 27: The MLA,Ramban,Ashok Kumar inaugurated two newly upgraded schools, two transformers, sanctioned three classrooms and approved financial assistance for 20 electric poles for better power supply in his constituency. During a three day extensive tour to the remote hilly areas of his constituency that concluded today evening, Ashok inaugurated the Government Middle Schools(Upper Primary) which were recently upgraded from Lower Primary Schools at Bhatiyari in Ramban city and Paribassi in Kanga Panchayat under the Sarva Siksha Abhiyan (SSA) and new block in the school were being constructed at an cost of Rs.10.41 lakh and Rs 8.40 lakh respectively under SSA scheme. At Bhatiyari he announced the sanctioning of 50 desks each costing Rs.1,000 for the newly upgraded school from his CDF, today. He also announced that very soon a new water scheme and installation of a 25Kva transformer would be installed in Bhatiyari area. He also sanctioned Rs.2.50 lakh from his Constituency Development Fund for the 20 electric poles for Chhapri and Naal hamlets of Kanga but for which their villagers were yet to be electrified. Earlier, he also inaugurated two Transformers of 25 KVA including the Low Power as well as High Power Transmission Line each at Top Neel and Chuchhattar at a cost of Rs.5 lakh and Rs.8.5 lakh respectively. |
