KATHUA, Nov 28: Expressing their anguish over the alleged callous attitude of Boarder Roads Organization (BRO) authorities towards the construction of Hatli Morh to Mehtabpur Road, the locals of the villages residing along the road stretch have demanded early construction of the road.
The villagers of Chack Ram Singh, Maroli, Mehtabpur, Gaiterwan, Jagatpur, Dilwan and Hatli while speaking to the media said that the condition of road is so bad that it cannot be explained in words.Issuing warning to Officer Commanding 69 Road Construction Company that if road is not constructed by December 10, then an FIR may be lodged against him for initiating criminal proceedings and affected public would be forced to block the National Highway/Rail Traffic, the locals said. |
