JAMMU, Nov 28: Guru Nanak Nagar Club (GNNC) today blanked Bikram Club beating latter 7-0 on way to the semifinals of the ongoing Ist Sant Gurbaksh Singh (Danna) Memorial Hockey Tournament at KK Hakhu Stadium, here.
Mandeep Singh struck thrice in the 11th, 26th and 36th minute to help the side made it big win. Indpal Singh (20th), Amandeep (28th), Ravinder (29th) and Ranjit (46th) were the scorers.
Meanwhile, in another preliminary round match, played today, Hira Nagar Club upset the formidable side of Zorawar Club Satwari making it a 3-2 win.
Rajinder Singh (15th), Suraj Singh (40th) and Sandeep Singh (52nd) were the scorers from winners Hira Nagar Club. From Zorawar Club, Baldev Singh (41st) and Haresh Vaid (59th) were the scorers.
Today's matches, conducted by the technical penal including Jagjeet Singh, SP Singh, Charanjeet Singh, JS Reen, GS Bakshi nad MS Reen, witnessed besides others by special guests, Autar Singh Khalsa and Managing Director SRTC, JS Tandon. |
