Jammu, Nov 28: A delegation of National Secular Forum (NSF) met Vice Chancellor Prof Mohan Paul Singh Ishar and presented a memorandum regarding their demands.
It was discussed by the NSF members that the alcohol should be banned in hostels.
It was further discussed by the NSF members that fixed timing should be drawn for walkers and proper dress-code for joggers before and after university hours. It was discussed by the members that lighting problems in the university campus due to fusing of electric bulbs in standing poles.It was discussed by the members to strengthen security problems during off days (Sat & Sun) and proper checking of vehicles in campus.
It was also discussed by the NSF members that problems of each and every student and boarder of all the hostels including both girls and boys shall be listened and solved on priority basis.After hearing to the above mentioned problems, Vice Chancellor assured NSF activists that all their demands will be fulfilled within a short period of time.Among those who were the part of delegation included Sukhdev Singh, president NSF, Barket Tahir, Ajaz Shah, Vikram Madhyal, Qayoom Malik, Somraj, Manpreet Kour, Gurdeep Kour, Nitin, Rakesh Kumar, Altaf, Jugal, Pawan, and others. |
