Early Times Report

Jammu, Nov 28: The youths and social activists hailing from Jagti held a meeting to discuss the problems of the residents of Jagti which was chaired by Prof A N Sadhu a prominent leader of the community.
During the meeting the participants raised their issues like unemployment among displaced community youths, shortage of drinking water and electricity in the area. They alleged despite repeated requests the response from concerned authorities remained casual and indifferent. Speakers lamented that the state and the Central Govt are not for emulating a clear out policy on the settlement of the displaced community. Addressing the gathering in meeting Prof Sadhu assured he will stand by with them and take up issues with concerned authorities for redressal. He however advised youth to stand united and fight for their rights. He also advised the administration not to play prank with the residents regarding the developmental and community welfare issues.
