Bovine smuggling bid foiled, one held 11/28/2013 11:34:12 PM Udhampur Nov 28: Police today foiled a bovine smuggling bid with the arrest of one person besides rescuing 13 bovine animals during naka checking at Kud. According to police reports following reliable information, a Police party of Police Station Kud under the command of SDPO Chenani Gian Chand Sharma led by Inspector Raghubir Singh, SHO Police Station Kud laid a surprise naka National Highway near Police Station and intercepted a truck bearing Registration No.HR58A-3803."During the search of said vehicle 13 bovine animals found packed inside the vehicle, police said, adding, "accused driver identified namely as Mohd Yousaf son of Fateh Mohd of Jaria Kathua was arrested on the spot and vehicle was seized."A Case FIR No. 133/2013 U/S 188/RPC stands registered at P/S Kud and investigation of the case going on.   Share This News with Your Friends on Social Network     Comment on this Story
