Man gets one year RI, fine for land dispute 12/17/2013 9:13:04 PM Jammu, Dec 17 : Principal Sessions Judge Jammu Kartar Singh has awarded one year Imprisonment and 10,000 fine Fazal Ahmed who was facing trial for the last 6 years in attack for land dispute at Bishnah. The court after hearing both the sides sentenced to undergo rigorous imprisonment for a period of one year for the commission of offences falling under sections 325 RPC and pay fine of Rs. 1000/-each. In default of payment of fine, he shall further undergo rigorous imprisonment for a period of one month. The accused is further sentenced to undergo rigorous imprisonment for a period of six months for the commission of offence falling under section 324 RPC and pay a fine of Rs.1000/-. In default of payment of fine, he shall further undergo rigorous imprisonment for a period of fifteen days. He is further sentenced to undergo rigorous imprisonment for six months for the commission of offence falling under section 323 RPC and to pay a fine of Rs.1000/- each. In default of payment of fine, he shall further undergo rigorous imprisonment for fifteen day. All the sentences are directed to run concurrently.
