JAMMU, Dec 17: In order to provide awareness to the educated and unemployed youths, artisans/ entrepreneurs and public at large about the different schemes of self employment and employment generation programmes, an awareness camp was organized by J&K Khadi and Village Industries Board (JKKVIB) Reasi under Prime Minister’s Employment Generation Programme [PMEGP] at Dhirti, Katra.
PO DRDA, Dr Jagdish Mehra inagurated the awareness camp. DIO Reasi Parvinder Kour, District Officer KVIB Sadiq Hussain, District Manager SC/ST, OBC Cooperation Kuldeep Kumar, District Officer JKEDI Dr Imtiaz Ahmad, Management Executive Employment Centre
Surjeet Kumar, Functional Manager DIC S.K Dhar and a large number of locals, panchs were also present on the occasion.
The officers of all the departments disseminated the information regarding the activities and incentives available under self-employment Generation Programmes and motivated the general masses to avail facilities under the scheme.
Speaking on the occasion Dr Jagdish Mehra said that this awareness camp is a part of series of camps being organized by District Administration Reasi under the guidance of DDC Reasi Dr Shahid Iqbal Choudhary to bring administration at peoples door step. |
