JAMMU, Dec 17: Col Arun Kumar, Director AWES, Northern Command visited APS Akhnoor today. He was received by Principal of School KCS Mehta. During his visit to classes, library, labs, Science Park he had lot of interaction with students.
Working models of science were presented by students. Later on he held interaction with chairman of the school Brig SK Dey. He appraised Chairman about various projects in hand and to be initiated. His emphasis was on quality education, technology aided learning, challenges for 21st century education, counselling of children, education for lifelong learning, developing hidden potential, e-learning technology, empowering teachers, preparing global leaders, vocationalization of education, enhancing lifelong learning through heritage education and participation of students in various national and international competitions and value education to be given to students. |
