Jammu, Dec 17: Arnas police today arrested an absconder who was evading his arrest for last 19 years in different police stations in different cases.
Police identified the arrested absconder as Girdhari Singh of Khanikote, Mahore.
Police sources said that on specific information a team led by SHO Arnas, Ashok Sharma raided a place and arrested him. Sources further added that Girdari was who evading his arrest since 1994.
"He was wanted in a case under FIR no.193/92 under section 3/25 of Arms Act in Reasi police station, case under FIR 40/92 under sections 457 and 392 in Reasi police station and under FIR no. 7/94 under sections 457, 392 and 7/25 of Arms Act in Ramnagar police stations", said a source. |
