Basotra demands fresh survey of BPL of Billawar Constituency

Jammu, Dec 29: President of Udhampur Doda Lok Sabha Youth Congress, Advocate Pankaj Basotra conducted a day long tour of Billawar Assembly constituency. During his tour he interacted with various people of tribal community including youth activists of different areas of Billawar constituency.
Accompanied by youth Congress leaders Advocate Kasturi Lal Khajuria, Kuldeep Khajuria AYC Vice President Billawar, Sr. youth Congress Leader Abhinav Sharma and while addressing the meeting at Kamad village of Bhaiya and Mela Panchayat of Billawar constituency. Basotra threw light upon the schemes of Central and State govt. for the welfare of the people . In the meeting various speakers put their demands relating to conducting of fresh BPL survey establishment of PHC at Kamad in ST Basti and Basotra gave full assurance to the people that their demands will be highlighted at the appropriate forum. He also demanded that there should be fresh survey in the BPL list of Billawar constituency so that the deserving people may get their rights.
While assuring the general masses he said that he will take the local issues with the concerned authorities and try to address them as soon as possible. Basotra also appealed the general masses to ensure Congress victory in the next assembly election who so ever will be the congress candidate from Billawar Assembly. Basotra while high lighting the achievements of the Youth Congress said that the State Government has took the historical decision by introducing the new rule to special recruitments of the local youth in the Central sponsored Hydro Electrical Projects and other project including National Highway and Tunnels. He also said that the Youth Congress will not hesitate to fight with its own government for the rights and claims of the people of the Lok Sabha.
Others who were present and spoke on the occasion include Nazir, Talib Sain, Mohd. Farid, Mohd. Muneer, Abdul Rashid, Abdul Qayoom, Mohd. Ashraf, Nazakat Ali and others.
