Samba, Dec 29: Senior National Conference (NC) Leader and Provincial Vice President of Women Wing Satwant Kaur Dogra conducted a month long extensive tour of border villages of Samba assembly constituency. The villages NC Leader toured includes Stala Camp, Manohar Gopala, Chack Manga Gujran, Raipur Camp, Kathlai, Pangdour, Sinki Chhapdi, Bain, Glar, Sordi besides other villages and there she met people at their door steps to take stock of problems being faced by them.
During door to door interactions with people, Satwant listened to the problems confronting people and assured them to take up their issues with concerned authorities to mitigate them at the earliest and assured her commitment in highlighting the problems and issues concerning common person.
Criticizing Panthers MLA for ignoring the people of border areas, she said he represented people for more than 11 years now but did nothing for their welfare. She said people are fed up with the callous and visionless attitude of Panthers MLA and asserted that multi-dimensional developmental needs of the people of Samba have suffered a lot for the last more than a decade. |
