Jammu, Dec 29: Activists of Sarv Dharam Sewa Samiti (SDSS) today castigated the state government, especially Health Minister for re-engaging retired doctors under National Rural Health Mission (NRHM). Addressing the media persons, president of SDSS, Robin Sharma said that the placement of retired doctors under NRHM was a big fraud with unemployed doctors. "A retired doctor is taking Rs. 30,000 to 40,000 as pension from the government, which is enough for him and her family members but after that he/she again adjusted as doctor under NRHM schemes due to his political influence, is a great threat to the future of unemployed doctors", he said. He asked government to take action against such appointments, otherwise they would start campaign against the government. During the meeting Pranab Sharma, Madam Sushma Mahajan, President Mahila Wing Kulbushan Sharma, Chetan Sharma, Vinay, Mandeep, Arun Mehta, Pandit Ashwani Sharma were present. |
