SAMBA, Dec 29: A meeting of All J&K Low Paid Employees Federation (LPEF) district Samba was held at Vijaypur under the chairmanship of district president of the federation Janak Raj Sharma to chalk out the strategy for holding one day demonstration at District Complex Samba on January 8.
Various speakers in the meeting criticized the government for not issuing the DA arrears due since July, 2013 and demanded release the outstanding amount.
In the meeting, General Secretary LPEF, Mushtaq Choudhary criticized the transfer policy in education deptt.
He said that all the daily wagers of PHE, PDD and Health, who have completed 7 years of service, should be regularized. Other demands discussed and raised include medical allowance to Rs1000 and enhancement of retirement age to 60 years.
