Rajouri, Jan 14: A man was injured in a leopard attack in the Darhal area of Rajouri district. The injured has been identified as Wali Mohd, son of Abdul Rashid who is under treatment in a hospital at Darhal. The leopard was later on trapped by the Wildlife Department and was shifted to Manda Wildlife Sanctuary Jammu. Police said that at about 7.45 am Wali Mohd was heading towards cattle shed near his house to feed the live stock when a hiding leopard jumped and injured him. Hearing Wali Mohd screaming, villagers rushed to the spot and rescued Wali from the clutches of the leopard. |
