Gurupurab, Eid, Pongal celebrated 1/14/2014 11:30:18 PM Jammu, Jan 14: Gurupurab, Eid, Makarsakranti, Pongal was celebrated at MAM Government College by student of Directorate of Distance Education. According to press release, the programme was organized by M Ed (Batch IIIrd) 2013-14. The function started with the giving of bunch of flowers to the Coordinator of the course Dr. Jaspal Singh , Prof. CL Shivgotra, Prof. OP Sharma and Prof. Amit sharma One of the student of M. Ed Tamilmani from Tamilnadu also spoke about the festival of Pongal, whereas another student Basher Ahmed from Doda delivered a speech on EID-UL-MILAD.
