Jammu, Jan 14: State President, Jammu Kashmir Democratic Front Anil Gupta demanded the implementation of Government Decision on the recommendations of Committee on the issue related to Defence Personnel and Ex-Servicemen-2012, regarding grant of dual family pension from military as well as Civil Employment to the personnel of Paramilitary forces and their families as well. During the interaction with a deputation from All J&K Paramilitary forces Ex-servicemen Welfare Association, Anil Gupta Said, "JKDF Shall raise the issue of granting of dual pension to personnel of Paramilitary forces in case a retired person from these forces is reemployed in any Civil department of Central or State Government."
Anil Gupta said, "Keeping the Paramilitary forces out of these recommendations shall be unfair as well injustice to the thousands of retired personnel and their families in the country.
He said, "The Ex-servicemen of Paramilitary forces are not granted the facilities and other benefits by the concerned State and Central Government as applicable to the country's Ex-defense forces personnel, although, the service conditions are almost similar in both", he said. |
