| PDP leaders appeal public for giving mandate to Amrik Singh Reen in LA polls | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Jan 14: It seems that PDP leaders have taken Gandhinagar constituency very seriously and are making every bit of the effort to make sure that they create an impact. Sardar Amrik Singh Reen is their candidate from Gandhinagar constituency and all the major leaders like Party Vice Trilok Singh Bajwa, Former MLC Dipinder KourR.S Billloria and Youth Distri Prisedent Divinder sing 'Sonu ' Anil Gour, R K Bali,Narinder sing Rana all lined up behind Reen to propel his image at Karan Nagar Chattha. The attendance was a fairly good one and they heard all the leaders with rapt attention. In his speech Trilok Singh Bajwa spoke about the people friendly approach of the party and also about the futuristic vision of their leader Mufti Mohammed Sayeed. He further said that PDP stood for the people and the values that people should inculcate. Similar was the discourse of the former MLC Dipinder Kour. She said that PDP leadership believed that women can contribute a lot to good governance and their full potential has to be extracted. Amrik Singh Reen who is the official candidate from the Gandhinagar constituency was more elaborate and said that it is time for instant decisions especially of the pending issues such as the issue of refugees. Being complacent with them and finding excuses to their problems is not the answer, Its time to discuss options and implement them. He further said that he had vowed to make Gandhinagar a model constituency and God willing if the people support him he will definitely get into the grass roots and find solutions. He also mentioned that the people elect their leaders on merit and I hope they would do the same this time around. He also asked the people who had gathered to vote for PDP candidate from Jammu-Poonch constituency Yashpaul Sharma. He further said that Yashpaul Sharma was a very hard working man and given a chance he can change the lives of the people. |
