Separate Medical College for Kishtwar district demanded

Kishtwar, Feb 17: Hailing the decision of Union Health Ministry Ghulam Nabi Azad to open new Medical Institutions in the state, Senior Congress leader from Kishtwar and State Executive Member Pradesh Congress Jammu and Kashmir Thakur Jughal Bhandari demanded a separate Medical College for Kishtwar District. In a press statement issued by Thakur Jughal Bhandari urged the Union Health Minister Gulam Nabi Azad for sanctioning more medical colleges for state and especially one for Kishtwar. He further extended special thanks to central leadership including UPA Chairperson Sonia Gandhi, Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh, Rahul Gandhi, P.Chidambaram for announcing One Rank One Pension for defence forces. He said that this scheme will benefit to around three million defence pensioners.
