Earlier, names of every "Tom, Dicky and Harry" were included in the panels and many leaders, without RSS backing, have opened channels at New Delhi to manage mandates for them. One of the leader, who had earlier joined National Conference and have not contested even Mohalla Committee election is claiming that with his "influence" he has managed mandate for Jammu-Poonch Lok Sabha at the cost of dedicated workers who have been working in the party for the last three to four decades. Insiders said that party has decided to prepare new panels for both the Lok Sabha seats to revive shattered faith of the committed workers. Insiders said that panel would comprise of three potentials candidates Udhampur-Doda and similar number for Jammu-Poonch Lok Sabha seats. While including names of potential candidates in the list their political career, association with the party and committed to the ideology would also be taken into the considerations. Insiders said that committed towards party would also be given priority while including names of candidates in panels. Furthermore acceptable among the cadre at grass root level and acceptable among other organisation of Sangh Parivar would be another parameter for Lok Sabha candidates |
