Kathua, Feb 18 : Casual workers, C.P workers and daily wagers of different government departments today staged a protest demonstration in support of their demands including regularization at Shaheed Bhagat Singh Park in Kathua. The protest dharna was supported and joined by the Jammu and Kashmir Low Paid Employees Federation. In his address, district president of Federation Kabla Singh alleged that the state government for carrying the extreme exploitation of these poor and help less poor employees. "The Government has turned so cruel and adopted the oppressive approach to smash the future of its innocent daily-wagers, C.P workers, adhoc, casual and several others who are working as per Rehabre schemes," he said. While speaking the leaders of the Union Pushap Raj president, Parveen Kumar Vice president, Salim Chief Organizer, Sandip Secretary, Sardar Lal Cashier, Dharam Paul, Makhan Lal and Davinder Singh alleged the state government for being failed on all fronts in addressing our demands of regularizations, they said we are semi employees who have been handling the entire department for the last more than 18 and 20 years. |
