| J&K govt to engage salesman, helper for every CAPD sale outlet | | | Et Report JAMMU, Feb 25: State government is mulling to engage one salesman and one helper for every sale outlet of the public distribution department. Minster for Consumer Affairs and Public Distribution department, Chowdhary Ramzan, said the proposal is under consideration of the government and as and when the proposal meets the approval of the government due consideration will be given to the private dealers, if they meet the eligibility criteria. He said this while replying to a question by Bashir Ahmad Magray in legislative council that the government has engaged some educated youth as private dealers in the department since long in the state, however, no engagement has been made by the department for last more than four years. Minister said that the department is compensating them with commission at the rate of 5% of the sale value of food grains. The process to remove disparity in wages to the contractual employees working in education department and those working under various central / state government sponsored schemes and projects is under consideration of the school education department. This information was given by the Minister of the State for Education, Feroz Ahmed Khan while replying to a question by Ali Mohammad Dar in Legislative Council today. Minister also informed that contractual lecturers in school education are provided Rs. 7000 per month as salary whereas FMPHW contractual employee in NRHM project is provided Rs.10,800 per month |
