HC issues directions in PIL regarding posts of SAC, SVC 2/25/2014 11:19:38 PM Et Report Jammu, Feb 25 : In a much publicized Public Interest Litigation regarding sanction of prosecution and sanction of posts for SAC, SVC, today State Accountability Commission filed a CMP for permission to file status report on behalf of them. In the status report it has been submitted that there is no serious effort on behalf of the Govt to provide staff and infrastructure for smooth functioning of the SAC and as such the SAC is not in a position to effectively function for purpose and manner for which its constituted. Division Bench of State High Court comprising Justice Virender Singh and Justice Muzaffar Hussain Attar after hearing Adv SS Ahmed appearing for the PIL, Sr. Adv Sunil Sethi appearing for SAC whereas Sr. AAG Gagan Basotra appearing for the state, allowed and permitted the SAC to place a record its status report and directed respondents to file response within two weeks.JNF   Share This News with Your Friends on Social Network     Comment on this Story
