JAMMU, Mar 3: The recent transfers of Inspector and Sub Inspector rank officials have left the Khakhi with resentment as blue eyed have been leaving no stone unturned to settle the score. Further, they are assisted for this noble cause not by politicians but those who at the helm of affairs are managing the transfers.
Highly placed sources within police informed that police officers in PHQ have taken a back when a senior police officer approached the PHQ, requesting that PHQ should withdraw recent order of transfer in which wing of two inspector rank persons has been changed from district police to CID, on the pretext that one of the police officer in question proved valuables for district police.
The blue eyed police officer has not been relieved from the police station in district Jammu even after elapse of two weeks of the order. Coming on brief sketch of the Police Inspector in question, sources said that the officer raised factory at Bari Brahmana Industrial area and even managed two marriages which became him subject of controversy .
Further, PHQ also received another request from other senior police officers for withdrawing of the order in which an Inspector rank person, accused of robbing of a Punjab based jeweller, was transferred to other to PTS Vijaypur. The officer in question has still not been relieved from PS Batote even after elapse of one month. Meanwhile, in another reshuffle in police Department SSP Jammu Atul Goel today ordered transfer and posting of 16 Station House Officers (SHOs) and In-charge police posts.
As per order, SI Noor Mohd, SHO Bagh-e-Bahu has been transferred and posted in District Special Branch (DSB ) Jammu, SI Sunil Kumar Sharma, In-charge police post Digiana has been transferred and posted as SHO Bagh-e-Bahu, SI Joginder Singh has been transferred from Special Operation Group (SOG) Jammu and posted as in-charge police post Digiana , PSI Pawan Kumar Dograhas been transferred from Bagh-e-Bahu police station and posted as in-charge police post Greater Kailash, SI Charanjeet Singh in-charge police post Greater Kailash has been transferred and posted as Investigation Officer (IO) RS.Pura police station, SI Krishan Lai Raina has been transferred from RS Pura police station and posted as IO in Bishnah police station.
SI Kuldeep Raj Khajuria, has been transferred from Bishanh police station and posted as IO in Gandhi Nagar police station, PSI Deepak Thakur, has been transferred from Gandhi Nagar police station and posted as in-charge police post Chowk Chabutra, SI Bashir Ahmed Kohli, has been transferred from Bakshi Nagar police station and posted as in-charge police Canal Road, SI Kamal Kishore, has been transferred from police post Canal Road and posted as in-charge police Bathindi, SI Nayat Ali has been transferred from police post bathindi and posted as in-charge police post Narwal, SI Manoj Kumar Dhar, in-charge police post Narwal has been transferred and shifted to District Police Lines (DPL) Jammu, PSI Vikrant Singh, in-charge police post Talab Tillo has been transferred and posted as IO in Nagrota police station, SI Ranbir Singh, in-charge Border Police Post (BPP) Gajansoohas been transferred and posted as in-charge police post Talab Tillo, PSI Jasvinder Singh, has been transferred from Akhnoor police station and posted as in-charge Border Police Post (BPP) Gajansoo, SI Nazir Ahmed, in-charge police post Sidhra has been transferred to DPL Jammu.
