Jammu, Mar 3: About 179 cases of unfair means were reported to the Jammu and Kashmir Public Service Commission (PSC) during 2011-13, the figures revealed in annual reports which were tabled in state Legislative Council on Monday. The annual reports revealed that in year 2011-12, 126 cases while in year 2012-13 53 cases of unfair means were reported to the commission. "15 cases of unfair mean at Excise and Commercial Taxes, nine cases SAC Part I-II, 69 cases for Revenue (Executive) Service Examination were reported, 28 cases of Secretariat Assistant Course and five cases of KAS (Mains) were reported to the PSC", the annual report of 2011-12 reveals. The annual report of year 2012-13 shows decline in registered unfair means cases as compare to previous year. "One case of KAS (Probationers), one case of Labour Inspector/Officer, 24 cases of Secretariat Assistant Training Course, two case of Account Clerk Course (ACC), five cases SAC Part I-II, seven cases of Revenue (Executive) Service Examination, eight cases of Excise and Commercial Taxes Part I-II-II, one case of Combined Competitive Examination and four cases of KCS (Judicial) Examination were reported to the Commission", the annual report of year 2011-12 reveals. |
