Reports reaching here said that some unidentified militants appeared in the Pulwama main market and fired upon a police vehicle that was stationed on the Court Road in the town. The firing incident led to panic in the area with people running towards safer places. Some of the shopkeepers in the town left open their shops while ensuring their own security and safety. The traffic movement was also affected in the main market and the situation turned normal only after some hours in the late afternoon. "Today some unknown militants fired upon a Police vehicle near court complex Pulwama falling under the jurisdiction of Police station Pulwama.
