7 resolutions moved, 2 withdrawn; 1 adopted 4 concerned MLCs remain absent 3/3/2014 11:12:49 PM Et Report Jammu, Mar 3: Seven resolutions were moved in the Upper House on Monday, out of these two were withdrawn by the members and one was adopted by the House, while four concerned members remained absent when their resolutions were moved. MLCs including Gulam Nabi Monga, Dr Shehanaz Ganai, Naresh Kumar Gupta and Syed Naeem Akhter were absent from the house when there resolutions were moved. However, the House adopted the Resolution moved by Nurboo Gialchan regarding creation of separate Ladakh division. Two other Resolutions, moved by Bashir Ahmed Magray and Dr. Bashir Ahmed Veeri, were withdrawn by the members after receiving assurance from the Government. Resolution moved by Bashir Ahmed Magray was regarding implementation of Ribbon Development Act while the Resolution moved by Dr. BA Veeri was about creation of separate, seasonal and temporary administrative set-up for smooth conduct of annual Shri Amar Nath Ji Yatra.   Share This News with Your Friends on Social Network     Comment on this Story
