| NITTTR offers, conducts "Environmental Engineering and Management" | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Mar 3: National Institute of Technical Teachers Training and Research (NITTTR) Chandigarh is offering an online (Video Conferencing) Faculty Development Program, to the faculty of Technical Institutions in Northern Region. It is pride honour for "Yogananda College of Engineering and Technology" (YCET) to be part of such privilege programme through Integration Communication Technology (ICT) on Environmental Engineering and Management scheduled during 3-7 March, 2014 being organized by National Institute of Technical Teachers Training and Research (NITTTR), Chandigarh. The prime objective of this workshop is to impart to the participating teachers of different institutes of Technical Education to understand the environmental issues and management of such issues (like increasing higher levels of Pollutions, Ozone Depletion and Global warming etc) to be aware, while undertaking all kinds of Engineering activities and disseminating the knowledge further to the students. Prof. B. L. Sharma, Director YCET, welcomed the participating faculty members of various institutes of Technical Education in Jammu Region and laid emphasis on physical understanding of besieging the environmental issues and urged to the faculty members to manage such issues while undertaking all kinds of engineering activities in the service of Mankind. Prominent among other luminaries present in the workshop were Ajay Jamwal, Dean Administration, ICES, Prof. KR Sharma, Principal North Polytechnic, Prof. KG Gupta, Principal IECS, Er. BR Verma, Dean Academics YCET, and IS Ahluwalia, Training and Placement Officer, YCET along with other teaching faculty members of Jamwal Group of Instituions, Jammu. Er. Rajnish Mangotra coordinated the faculty development. |
