Jammu, Mar 28: Kranti Dal State President Pritam Sharma today slammed Omar's Government for discriminating Jammu city on the basis of development. While addressing the press conference Pritam Sharma & Vijay Kumar Gen. Secy said that the condition of Jammu city is very bad as there is breakout in all the streets and there is lot of dust in the city areas. In Bhagwati Nagar, Jammu, sewerage project was approved by Ghulam Nabi Azad, ex-CM during his tenure and was started in 2010 by with the budget of 122 crore by National Building Construction Corporation (NBCC) agency and there was target to complete it in 2014 but the situation is different. The Sewerage project work is lying pending and only 50-60 percent work is completed. Further, Sharma added that there is slow pace of work as NBCC agency blamed govt. for not releasing funds. NBCC itself also failed to complete the project in given period. The areas in Jammu city which faces inconveniences include Peer Khoo, Janipur, Lakkar Mandi, sarwal, Mandi, Subash Nagar, Rehari, Bhagwati Nagar etc. Kranti Dal warned the Omar government and NBCC agency to complete the sewerage work immediately otherwise face results. |
