| NC-Cong responsible for mounting woes of people: Bajwa | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Mar 28: Vice president of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Trilok Singh Bajwa today flayed Congress leadership for befooling people especially refugees during elections. He said that Congress being partner of the government was equally responsible for non fulfillment of promises made with the people.
Bajwa was addressing a series of meetings at village Gharani, Bholi Chak, Dabler, Chakroi, Tonkni, Gharana of Suchetgarh Assembly segment while campaigning for Yashpal Sharma, PDP candidate for Jammu-Poonch Lok sabha constituency.
Bajwa said that during the last nearly five years National Conference-Congress government has done nothing for to fulfill promises which were made with the people. He especially mentioned that a number of promises were made with the residents of border areas but all these promises remained only on papers.
He said that National Conference and Congress leadership has befooled people of Jammu and Kashmir since decades and it was high time to teach a lesson to this party. He mentioned towards failure of the successive National Conference regimes to solve problems of the refugees. He also lambasted Congress leadership for betraying refugees and other sections of the society. Bajwa said that common masses in general and youth and women in particular have suffered immensely under the present anarchist dispensation that has become a symbol of political chaos, mis-governance, rampant corruption, administrative anarchy and denial of justice. |
