Kishtwar Congress starts door to door campaign in favor of Azad

Kishtwar, Apr 1 : Senior Congress leader and MLA Inderwal Ghulam Mohammad Saroori today started door to door campaign for Congress candidate from Udhampur-Kathua parliament seat, Ghulam Nabi Azad and addressed 15 public meetings at Agral, Dada, Sarthal, Karool, Moharwari, Ladsa, Ghan, Angara, Bhagran, Pura, Chandali, Cheryana, Kandoth and Hasti. While addressing series of public gatherings, Saroori said that Congress Party has ensured over all development in the State and the country. " whether it is power sector, education, health, rural development, road connectivity or water supply, Congress did justice with the people", said Saroori. He said that on the basis of development ensured in the country, the Congress is now going to the people for seeking votes for 3rd term. He claimed that UPA-III will come to power again as UPA-II had emerged stronger than UPA-I on the basis of development. Saroori said that Ghulam Nabi Azad has worked day and night and ensured the overall development of J&K particularly Udhampur constituency both as chief minister of the state as well as the Union minister.
"His (Azad) historical decisions ranging from creation of eight new districts including Kishtwar, implementation of Roshni Act, construction of Yatri Niwas, Haj House, Tulip Garden, New Assembly Complex, enactment of stringent Anti Corruption Laws etc are enough to sustain the claims that Azad possess a competent and visionary foresight" added Saroori.
He said that as Union Health Minister, Azad recently sanctioned five new Medical Colleges for the State which will definitely lead the State towards achieving self reliance in Health sector. He said that the people of Udhampur parliament constituency are lucky enough to get a strong candidate to contest from this Lok Sabha Constituency and hope that Azad will surely emerged victorious with huge margin.
