NC-Cong to win all 6 LS seats: Kichloo
Praises Azad; cautions people against politics of hate

KISHTWAR, Apr 1: Minister of State for Home, Sajjad Ahmad Kichloo, has said that the NC-Congress coalition government will sweep the State and win all the six Lok Sabha seats adding that the people will reject the politics of hate and elect those candidates that will represent the true secular character of Jammu & Kashmir. The Minister said this while addressing several party meetings across Udhampur-Kathua-Doda parliamentary constituency, which is going to polls on April 17 later this month. Senior district NC leaders Imtiyaz Ahmad Zargar, Ghulam Rasool Magray, Mohammad Aslam Dev, Shabir Ahmad Kamal, Rajinder Sen and sarpanches and panches of Dacchan, Marwah and Warwan were also present. On this occasion, several PDP workers also joined NC and pledged support to the coalition government. Asking people to vote for Ghulam Nabi Azad, NC-Congress candidate from Udhampur-Kathua-Doda parliamentary constituency, Kichloo highlighted the achievements of the present regime which has brought in a new era of development and prosperity. "Over the last five years, under the able leadership of Chief Minister Omar Abdullah, the Government has pursued welfare-centric policies. The people of the State have also made a valuable contribution towards restoration of peace and normalcy which are crucial for growth and economy development of any state," he added. While praising Azad for his valuable contribution in development of health infrastructure across the country, the Minister highlighted the huge strides made by the State in health sector of the State. By sanctioning new medical colleges and commissioning super specialty hospitals, Azad has made advanced treatment available to people at their doorsteps. "It is an honour for the people of J&K that he has been voted as the best Health Minister of the country since independence," he said, adding the people will never forget his role in healthcare development of the State.Referring to the creation of new administrative units in the State, Kichloo stated that the new network of administrative units will bring people and administration closer. He added that the Government will work strenuously for operationalizing the newly-created administrative units. The Minister also highlighted the valuable contribution of the UPA
