Poonch, May 19: Taking cognizance of a story carried in Early Times few days back, newly appointed Deputy Chief Education Officer (Dy. CEO) today ordered detachment of about 15-18 teachers who were reluctant to join their new places of posting. Dy. CEO Mendhar, Mohd Azam; Zonal Education Officer, Mankote; Abdul Rashid Choudhary, Zonal Education Planning Officer, Mendhar; Mohd Rashid today raided Government Boys Middle School Mankote, Government Girls Middle School Mankote and several other schools in the town and after finding some teachers absent from duties who had not sanctioned leave officially namely Mohd Rashid, Mohd Younus, Zaida Parvez, Mohd Rafiq, Abdul Karim, Mohd Raza, Mohd Alias (ReT), Jameela Bi, Davinder Kour, Shamim Akhtar, Tahira Rashid, Syed Azad Hussain Shah, Tazim Akhtar, Farooq Ahmad, Nayeem Kosur, Mallika Khatoon, Abdul Karim, Shehra Azad were ordered to report to their new places of posting. As per sources, there are 71 posts of teachers lying vacant in different Zones including Zone Balakote, Zone Harni and Zone Mendhar in the Poonch town. Owing to this unwillingness of teachers to join these rural areas, the education system has been affected adversely. To strengthen the same, newly joined Dy. CEO promised to make the system transparent in the fitness of things. |
