Jammu, May 19: Jammu and Kashmir PHE, ITI Trained and CP workers Union today demanded immediate frame a policy for their regularization. The union today staged demonstration outside Chief Engineer, PHE Jammu and shouted slogans in support of their demands. Speaking on the occasion, president of the Union Tanveer Hussain said that the state government should frame a policy for the regularization of their services. "ITI trained, casual labour and need base workers have been serving the department for twenty years", he said, adding that paradoxically, the state government seems fail to meet their demands. "Our demands are genuine and please be considered. The casual labour employees are be regularized, as we completed the required formalities in all respects", he requested, adding that the as and when they approached the concerned authorities, promised were made, but nothing has been done so far. The said that ITI trained and CP Workers should be regularized as per ReT and ReZ pattern. The union threatens that if their demands not be met, they would launch Kaam Chodo Hartaal from June 2, 2014 in all division of state. |
