BSF, Pak Rangers hold casual contact meeting

Jammu, May 19: A casual contact between Border Security Force (BSF) and Pakistani Rangers at Border out Post (BoP) was held, this evening, BSF sources said. They added that Indian side also took up the matter of repatriation of Indian youth who inadvertently had crossed on the other side.
According to official sources, troops of 94 BN BSF and 12 Chinab Rangers held a casual contact meet at Border Observation Post (BOP) Octroi Post in Ranbir Singh Pura Jammu at 1600 hours.
They said besides various issues including clearing of wild weed growth along 'Zeroline', the Indian side took the matter of the repatriation of Sohan Lal who inadvertently had crossed to other side on the other day. Sources further said that Indian side handed over a sealed envelope to Pakistani Rangers in which BSF reportedly had sought intervention of Pak Rangers regarding repatriation of Jammu youth
