| JKATA demands Govt to make public seniority list | | | Early Times Report Jammu, May 19: Jammu and Kashmir Agricultural Technocrats Association (JKATA) has asked the government to publish seniority list and demanded regularization who are engaged as Rehbar-i-Ziraat since April 2007 in one go. While addressing a press conference here at Press Club, Dr. Surinder Radotra Presedent JKATA said that regularization list should be published as the model code of conduct is removed. He said that the Agriculture Minister had promised that the list will be published immediate after the removal of Model Code of Conduct. He said that that the seniority list should be published while considering the points. One should have completed the 7 years of satisfactory service without any break, Regular PG Degrees should be recognized by the ICAR and the distance mode degrees should not be considered in the weightage of points. He also said that as there are few candidates left the department for other departments, working in projects, candidates pursuing their respective higher studies without stipend. Dr. Radotra appealed that a provision should be made to regularize of these candidates. As the cabinet has approved Rs.25 Crores for the first batch to be regularized it will take approx 12-15 Crores to regularize all the candidates which is not an issues for the state Govt. Dr. Jai Vashista General Secretary JKATA appealed to Chief Minister and Agriculture Minister that they should personally intervene and look into the matter that Uhis process should be carried on. As all of REZs are looking on to CM Omar Abdullah and Agriculture Minister GH Mir as they have taken the initiative to induct us all in regular government service. They also appealed that the regularization process should be carried on and implemented with effect of April 2014. Those who were present on the occasion included Vinod Sharma Chairman, Shakeel Qazi Doda, Bhupnder Sngh Jammu, Mohammad Imran Jammu, Sakinder Singh Jammu , Ahbimanyu Mahajan Jammu and Rasid. |
